Vancouver, B.C., Jan 30th, 2017  —  Award-winning Canadian actor, Frank Cassini, is the latest to be cast in the Smith Brothers’ sci-fi thriller, VOLITION.  Cassini’s feature credits span from The Watchmen to TNT’s James Dean bio-pic, (the latter) alongside James Franco. He has also starred as a series-regular in The Bridge, and in a variety of roles in hit series, such as Continuum, The Killing, Blackstone and Intelligence. Frank is a life-time member of the Actor’s Studio. His career began with a roles in the original Miami Vice and Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas. Frank will be joining the cast that already contains his real-life brother, John Cassini.

Volition is directed by award-winning director Tony Dean Smith, based on a screenplay written by Tony Dean Smith & Ryan W. Smith. It is a gritty sci-fi thriller about a man afflicted with clairvoyance, who tries to change his fate when a series of events leads to a vision of his own murder. The Smith Brothers have partnered with Paly Productions, Inc. to produce the film, with Principal Photography set for Spring 2017.
